WebSight Design is pleased to announce the beta launch of TRIStudios.com "“ the brainchild of Bob Weir, founding member of the Grateful Dead. There is no real way to effectively describe what Bob is up to so check out the site directly for more detail, but if you haven't heard of it before, the Tamalpais Research Institute is a performance studio for broadcasting live HD video and audio streams directly to the Internet. Though the current website includes robust content management features, it will shortly be replaced by a new version that also has community and e-commerce functions. The site now serves as a way to introduce the mission and functionality of the project to musicians and fans. Visitors can watch a video in which Bob explains the vision behind the state-of-the-art performance center, stay up-to-date on TRI news and Bob's facebook posts, and view photos of the studios and past performances. We were fortunate enough to be just a small part of a very talented team on this project including John Cutler (project manager),Anne Cutler (graphic designer) and Steve Bahcall (video expert/technical manager).
