At WSD, we don’t just build websites—we build partnerships. Our relationship with Ron Craig, Michael Levine, and Cesar Herrera began long before Today is the Day was born. 

We first collaborated on their payment processing company, Hawthorn Payments (GoHP), launching a refreshed brand and website in early 2024. So when they approached us with a bold new vision for an outdoor apparel brand, we were all in - knowing their drive, passion, and commitment to making a difference.

Today Is the Day: A Brand with a Mission

Today Is The Day isn’t just about branded clothing—it’s a movement. Inspired by Ron’s daughter, a competitive high school skier, Today Is The Day was created to motivate and inspire kids, young athletes, and communities. Their tagline, “Mindset Meets the Moment,” captures their core belief in showing up, pushing limits, and making every day count.

From Concept to Launch: Bringing Today is the Day to Life

To bring Today Is The Day  to life, WSD took on the full digital buildout, including:

  • Branding & Logo Design: We crafted a bold, energetic identity.
  • Custom Website Development: We designed the site for easy-to-navigate user experiences. 
  • E-Commerce Solution: Inclusive of a shopping cart, product database, and orders database, this solution was built for long-term growth and scalability. 

Unlike many startups that default to Shopify, Today Is The Day opted for a custom-built platform to avoid transaction fees and maintain full control over their business. And because their founders also operate GoHP,  we were able to set them up with a cost-effective, high-performance payment solution.

A Partnership That Keeps Growing

Our collaboration with Today Is The Day is just one chapter in our ongoing relationship with Ron and Michael. Alongside their team, we’re currently working on:

  • Ongoing marketing and website maintenance for both Today Is The Day and GoHP
  • A digital payments application designed for iPad
  • Print materials for GoHP’s product line
  • A brand-new website for the Bliss Product Line, an extension of the GoHP product family
