Glen Barras, Marin County Agent, Launches A New Dynamic Site

It's no secret that Marin County, CA, has some of the most captivating landscapes in the country. From the breathtaking seascapes of Tiburon and Corte Madera to the woodsy hills of Mill Valley, the county's diverse terrain is also home to some of the most valuable real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fortunately, for those looking to buy or sell property in or around Marin County, real estate expert Glen Barras is there to help!

As a California native, Glen has called Marin home for more than 30 years. He was first introduced to the community while visiting his mother in Belvedere. Drawn to the area's natural beauty, he subsequently packed his college dorm and moved to Marin County. 

Glen's love for real estate and the area in which he lives is reflected in his dedication to helping people buy and sell property in Marin and San Francisco.

With a diverse career and experience working for mega-companies such as Oracle, Gartner, IBM, Salesforce, and Teradata, Glen understands the value of technology when it comes to customer service.

So, when Glen's website and website vendor wasn't helping him effectively generate traffic and attract new clients – he called us. And we were happy to help.

A fresh new website

We met with Glen to kick off the project and learn more about his challenges and objectives. It was clear, from the start, that his old website wasn't cutting it. The generic template and extraneous code cluttered behind-the-scenes SEO and didn't visually differentiate his brand from others. In choosing a smaller website agency, Glen sought to form a relationship with real, relatable people that would develop a custom site for his individual needs.

Glen's overarching goals were to leverage his site for growth marketing, make his listings easily accessible online, and obtain new clients via his website. Likewise, our top two design objectives were to ensure ease of contact and weave in the Compass brand.

As a result, our designer created a unique layout that was visually dynamic and functional. We thoughtfully included more impactful imagery and information 'above the fold' to quickly help site visitors engage and connect. Photos of Glen, testimonials, contact information, and critical calls-to-action are also readily available without scrolling. To tie in the Compass brand, we utilized their black-and-white color scheme, various Compass elements, and the Compass logo at the bottom.

A growing relationship

Eager to grow his business and reach more clients, Glen has engaged WSD for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing. 

We had a lot of fun designing and building this site with Glen and are excited to continue to work with him for ongoing marketing services.
